Since it's a completely natural product, it varies slightly from batch to batch. Our tallow has a whipped icing feel. We do use the same recipe and method every time we make our tallow, but there are a number of factors that are out of our control.
Every now and then, you may notice a different texture. Whether more
whipped, or slightly gritty - this is to be expected as we refuse to add
anything synthetic to our products that would guarantee a more consistent feel. If you notice a difference in the texture, the product is still as effective
What we can control, we are very consistent in. We strive to make the
best tallow products with each batch we make.
If your tallow products get soft or melts just put your product in the refrigerator and it will get back to its original state.
Tallow is great for babies' skin but we recommend unscented. They are
gentle with no essential oils. Our tallows have been used for sunburns, baby acne, dry patches, cradle cap, general moisturizer, diaper cream, wounds, rashes, bites, and so much more!
Our unscented products might have a mild scent - that is due to the scent of our natural ingredients.
Use clean, dry hands when applying your products.
Compatibility with your skin – It is so easy for our body to use and absorb!
Beneficial vitamins for your skin –Vitamins A, D, E, and K that you can only find in an animal oil. Put them together with our plant oils and you have a match made in heaven.
An abundance of fatty acids – These fatty acids are found naturally in youthful and glowing skin and tend to decline as we age.
Palmitic Acid – Protects skin from the environment and is soothing for your skin.
Omega 7 (Palmitoleic Acid) – Anti-microbial.
CLA – Calms inflamed skin and kills bacteria.
Stearic Acid – Found in our own oils, this amazing fatty acid brings moisture to the skin, softens, rejuvenates, and has anti-inflammatory properties. Helps with collagen and elastin.
Omega 9 (Oleic Acid) – Awesome carrier to the other oils and helps penetrate these nutrients deep into the skin.
All of our products are shipped using United States Postal Service, First Class Mail, unless otherwise requested. This means you should be receiving your order about 5 days after it has been shipped. We package and ship your order within 3-5 business days or less but we do try our best to ship it next business day from our shop in Central Coast California.
Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. Gift Cards are non-returnable items. To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable) Please note reasons that do not allow a refund: Any item not in its original condition, damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error. Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery.
If you are unhappy with your product for any reason, you may return it to us (at your expense) and we will refund you the order amount, less the original shipping. Should you have a problem with your product, please contact us and we will work with customers on a case by case situation. Refunds (if applicable) Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 21 or less days. Late or missing refunds (if applicable). If you haven't received your refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company's it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often processing time before a refund is posted.
